Diara is originally from St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology with a pre-med concentration from Worcester State University, along with a minor in chemistry. She became interested in neuroscience research while working as an undergraduate intern in the MGH Youth Neurology Research and Education Programs at the Mukerji Lab for Neuroinfectious Diseases, where she researched the effects of COVID-19 on the HIV population. She also worked as a Behavior Technician, which piqued her interest in psychology and child development. A profession in neuropsychology is something she is considering. In her downtime, Diara likes to paint, content create, and explore new restaurants and sites with her friends.
